Epic Analyst III -Bridges

Position overview

Pay

• Pay range is $85,600–$139,100 per year.

Key duties

• Gather requirements for clinical workflows and partner with stakeholders on healthcare operations.
• Troubleshoot and monitor clinical system functionality and assess requests for Epic functionality.
• Lead complex Epic projects and guide peers through change control, development, testing, implementation, and documentation.
• Define system performance criteria, guide operational practices, mitigate risk, and investigate enhancements and corrections.
• Provide on-call support and establish processes for a 24/7 user support framework.
• Follow security and compliance policies and maintain knowledge of HIPAA and other applicable regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field and six years of healthcare application support experience; work experience may substitute for education.
• Epic certification in the area of support is required, or must be obtained within 12 weeks of required training with no more than two testing attempts.

Preferred technical experience

• Preferred experience includes Rhapsody Interface Engines, Epic Bridges, system integrations, high availability, and on-call support.
• Preferred work includes interface testing and validation, upgrades, third-party software implementation, in-house applications, and integration design.
• Preferred interface technologies include real-time HL7, web services, and batch interfaces.
