We are partnering with a leading financial services institution in Dubai to hire an
Enterprise And Operational Risk Analyst
.
This role sits within a dynamic risk function and is suited to a candidate with
4–6 years’ experience in operational or enterprise risk within a capital markets environment
.
The successful candidate will play a key role in strengthening the firm’s risk framework, working closely with front office and support functions to identify, assess, and mitigate risks.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the enhancement and execution of the
Enterprise Risk Management (Erm) Framework
- Independently conduct
Risk & Control Self-Assessments (Rcsas)
- and control testing
- Identify, assess, and monitor
- operational risks
- across trading, sales, and post-trade functions
- Analyse and report on
- risk events, incidents, and key risk indicators (KRIs)
- Produce high-quality
- risk reporting and MI
- for senior management and risk committees
- Maintain and update the
- risk register
- , ensuring completeness and accuracy
- Partner with business stakeholders to embed a strong
- risk and control culture
- Support
- regulatory, audit, and governance requirements
Requirements
- 4–6 years of experience in
Operational Risk And Enterprise Risk
- within a
- capital markets or investment banking environment
- Strong understanding of
- capital markets products
- (equities, fixed income, derivatives) and trade lifecycle
- Hands-on experience with
- RCSAs, KRIs, incident management, and risk frameworks
- Ability to work independently and engage confidently with stakeholders across the business
- Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills
- Advanced proficiency in
- Excel and PowerPoint
- ; experience with risk systems is beneficial
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Risk Management, or related field
- Progress towards or completion of a professional qualification (e.g.,
FRM, PRM, CFA
- )
- Experience working in an
- international or regulated financial environment
