Enterprise Architect

The Enterprise Architect will play a pivotal role in shaping the technology landscape of the organisation by defining technology principles, standards and governance that underpin the entire Group.

The ideal candidate will have genuine Enterprise Architecture experience - they to be able to 'see the bigger picture', and build and govern a robust enterprise architecture that will serve the organisation in years to come.

The Enterprise Architect will be responsible for:

Defining and maintaining the Group's Enterprise Architecture spanning business, application, data, and technology domainsEstablish and steward architecture principles, standards, and reference models that provide guardrails for technology decisions across the entire GroupOperate an Architecture Review BoardOwn the Group's cloud architecture standards across Azure, and multi-cloud environmentsProvide architectural oversight on disaster recovery, business continuity, and high-availability design across critical systemsLead cloud cost governance - establishing FinOps principles and architectural controls that prevent unnecessary spend at scaleApplication & Integration Architecture: selection and adoption of enterprise platforms (ERP, CRM, HRMS, etc.), and overseeing the architecture of data flows and data integrationEmbedding security into the architecture process from the outsetActing as a trusted adviser across the Group when it comes to all things TechnologyBuilding architecture awareness across the Group

A successful Enterprise Architect should have:

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline10+ years of experience with at least 3 years operating at an enterprise architect levelA strong background in enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF (relevant certifications are preferred)

working in large, complex organisationsExcellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teamsExpertise in cloud technologies; defining and governing cloud architecture in a multi-cloud environment Strong understanding of security protocols and compliance requirementsEffective communication skills to present complex technical solutions to stakeholdersAbility to influence stakeholdersA track record of defining and governing architecture, and then creating business impact through ownership of architectural decisionsBased in/willing to relocate to the Eastern Province in Saudi Arabia (Dammam/Khobar)
