Qualifications Minimum

• Recruitment Standards University graduation in computer science or a related discipline plus four years related experience; or equivalent as described. Equivalency: A related two-year diploma in computer technology or a related discipline from a recognized postsecondary institution and six years related experience; or a related one-year certificate from a recognized post-secondary institution and seven years related experience. The following experience is required: Overall business knowledge of strategies, guidelines, policies, legislation, and processes of the organization. In depth knowledge of enterprise architecture, methods, tools, and frameworks. Experience of solution development approaches such as and not limited to software design methodologies and frameworks, cloud infrastructure, container-based development. Understanding of all aspects of the software development life cycle. Experience with agile development methodologies. Experience as a technical leader on development teams. Knowledge of industry best practices and processes. The following experience will be given preference: Direct experience leading enterprise-wide architecture/technical initiatives. Preference will be given to candidate with over 2 years of experience as Architect or Technical Lead. Notes Hours of work are 8:15 AM to 4:30 PM (36.25 hours per week) Monday to Friday. This is a full-time position located in downtown Edmonton.
