Role Overview
The employer is seeking an Engineering Coordinator or Office Engineer for ELV and ICT projects in the UAE.
The role manages engineering documentation, technical drawings, and client or consultant submittals.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and revise AutoCAD shop drawings, as-built drawings, and coordination drawings.
- Prepare material submittals, technical submittals, method statements, and project documentation.
- Coordinate with consultants, clients, suppliers, project teams, procurement, and site teams.
- Review consultant comments, manage resubmissions, and maintain engineering records.
- Support BOQ verification, material specifications, technical clarifications, and compliance checks.
- Ensure engineering documentation is submitted within project timelines.
Requirements
- 2–3 years of UAE experience in ELV, ICT, security systems, or MEP projects.
- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and engineering documentation.
- Experience preparing consultant or client submittals and handling approval processes.
- Understanding of CCTV, access control, structured cabling, intercom, Wi-Fi, SMATV, and related ELV systems.
- ERP, CRM, or document management system experience is advantageous.
- Good English communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
Additional Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Experience with SIRA portal work, engineering coordination, ELV project documentation, or ELV AutoCAD drawing work is preferred.
Compensation
- Salary is AED 2,000–4,000 per month, based on experience.
Workplace
- The role is performed in person.
