A prestigious semi-government entity in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced

Associate Director – Strategic Policy & Investment Affairs

to join a high-profile team supporting critical economic, investment, and strategic initiatives that contribute to the long-term development of Abu Dhabi and the UAE.

This is a unique opportunity for a commercially minded leader with a strong analytical background and experience gained within

investment companies, sovereign wealth funds, investment-related organisations, strategy teams, consulting firms, or government-linked entities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the evaluation, development, and implementation of strategic initiatives and policy recommendations.
  • Conduct in-depth research and analysis on economic, investment, and market trends impacting Abu Dhabi and the UAE.
  • Manage high-impact projects and programmes from concept through execution.
  • Prepare executive-level briefing papers, presentations, and decision-support materials for senior stakeholders.
  • Build relationships across government entities, regulatory bodies, and external partners.
  • Lead project teams, external advisors, and stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of strategic objectives.
  • Represent the organisation on committees, working groups, and strategic initiatives where required.

Candidate Profile

  • UAE National with a
  • valid Family Book
  • .
  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, Business, Public Policy, or another highly analytical discipline.
  • Master's degree, CFA, PMP, or similar professional qualification is advantageous.
  • Approximately
  • 10-12 years' experience
  • within investment, strategy, policy, consulting, economic analysis, project management, or related fields.
  • Strong experience gained within:
  • Investment companies
  • Sovereign wealth funds
  • Asset management firms
  • Government investment entities
  • Strategy consulting firms
  • Economic or policy-focused organisations
  • Exceptional analytical, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle highly confidential and sensitive matters with discretion.
  • Arabic and English language skills are preferred.
