Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented ELV Design/Estimation Presales Engineer to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing ELV solutions, preparing technical proposals, supporting the sales team during bidding processes, and ensuring all designs comply with project specifications and industry standards.
Responsibilities
- ***Presales Responsibilities***
- Review tender documents and project specifications.
- Prepare technical proposals and compliance statements.
- Coordinate with suppliers/manufacturers for technical support and pricing.
- Develop system architecture and design solutions based on client requirements.
- Prepare value engineering proposals when required.
- Support sales team during bid submission and technical clarifications.
- ***Design Responsibilities***
- Prepare ELV layouts, riser diagram, schematics, and equipment rack details.
- Perform calculations and equipment selection.
- Ensure designs comply with project specifications and authority requirements.
Education Qualifications, Experience and Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Communication Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in ELV system design, estimation, and presales support.
- Hands-on experience with Structured Cabling Systems, CCTV Systems (SIRA Certification is an advantage), Access Control System, Intercom Systems, Disabled Alarm Systems
- Experience in preparing Bills of Quantities (BoQs), Technical Submittals, Compliance Statements, System Design Drawings, Cost Estimations, Tender Documentation
- Strong technical knowledge of ELV systems and industry standards.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and related design software.
- Excellent analytical, estimation, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and presentation abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- Team-oriented with strong stakeholder management skills.
