This is a part-time, remote role for an Electrical/Mechanical Supervisor at the Casting and Mechanical Plant.
The supervisor will oversee routine and preventive maintenance tasks, perform equipment inspections, and manage maintenance schedules to ensure optimal operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
also include supervising a team of maintenance and operations staff, implementing safety protocols, coordinating repairs, and resolving mechanical or electrical issues as they arise.
The role is pivotal to ensuring the seamless functioning of plant equipment and adherence to industry standards.
Qualifications
- Strong Supervisory Skills with the ability to lead, manage, and guide a maintenance team effectively.
- Experience in performing Preventive Maintenance and developing proactive maintenance schedules.
- Proficiency in Maintenance Management practices, including resource allocation and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Technical expertise in conducting thorough Inspections of electrical and mechanical systems to ensure safety and functionality.
- Hands-on skills in carrying out Maintenance and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical equipment issues.
- Familiarity with industrial manufacturing environments and heavy equipment, particularly in metallurgy, steelmaking, or mining industries, is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and technical knowledge of machinery and production processes.
- Relevant certifications in mechanical or electrical maintenance are advantageous.
