This is a part-time, remote role for an Electrical / Mechanical Supervisor.
The Electrical / Mechanical Supervisor will oversee day-to-day maintenance activities for electrical and mechanical systems, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient operation of equipment and infrastructure.
Responsibilities
include planning and coordinating preventive maintenance schedules, assigning and supervising maintenance tasks, and verifying that work is completed to required standards.
The role also involves conducting inspections, identifying issues or risks, and recommending corrective actions to minimize downtime.
The supervisor will collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors, maintain accurate maintenance records, and help improve maintenance procedures and safety practices.
Qualifications
- Strong supervisory skills, including the ability to lead, coordinate, and support maintenance teams.
- Experience with preventive maintenance and maintenance planning to ensure reliable operation of electrical and mechanical systems.
- Proficiency in maintenance management and use of maintenance management systems or tools.
- Hands-on experience with maintenance and inspection of electrical and mechanical equipment, including troubleshooting and basic repairs.
- Knowledge of relevant safety standards, regulations, and best practices in electrical and mechanical environments.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, schematics, and equipment manuals.
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills, with comfort working in a remote, collaborative setting.
- Relevant technical qualification or certification in electrical, mechanical, or industrial maintenance (or equivalent experience); prior supervisory experience in a facilities, industrial, or plant setting is preferred.
