Full-time / Project-Based
The Commissioning Engineer will support the preparation and execution of electrical and instrumentation & control commissioning activities, ensuring proper testing, system readiness, and safe handover to operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Support commissioning activities for electrical and I&C systems
- Review test procedures, commissioning dossiers, and system turnover documentation
- Verify system readiness and support mechanical completion and punch clearance activities
- Coordinate with construction, vendors, QA/QC, and operations teams
- Witness testing, energization, loop checks, and functional testing activities
- Support troubleshooting and resolution of commissioning issues
- Ensure proper documentation and handover records are maintained
- Follow all HSE and commissioning procedures during execution
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or related discipline
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience
- Strong commissioning background in thermal power plant projects, preferably CCGT
- Good knowledge of electrical systems, control systems, testing, and plant startup activities
- Strong coordination and reporting skills
Preferred Profile
- GCC project experience
- Exposure to DCS, protection systems, switchgear, and commissioning interfaces
