About the role

Pulse Nova, an EDGE joint venture, is hiring an Electrical Integration Engineer to design, develop, and validate electrical integration of radar, EW, C2, and sensor systems on naval, ground, and airborne platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Design and validate electrical integration of radar, EW, C2, and sensor equipment on naval, ground-vehicle, and airborne/UAS platforms.
  • Define equipment racking and mounting, power distribution, grounding/bonding, and environmental protection solutions in line with MIL-STD-810G or equivalent requirements.
  • Analyze electrical interfaces, including weight and footprint budgets, power consumption, cooling, and platform vibration and shock loads.
  • Prepare electrical installation drawings, interconnection diagrams, and cable-routing plans.
  • Lead and support physical hardware installation on platforms, coordinating with installation technicians.
  • Support electrical safety checks, power-up sequences, and troubleshooting during integration and trials.
  • Support environmental qualification testing for vibration, shock, ingress protection, and thermal conditions.

Basic qualifications

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering and at least 5 years of experience integrating electrical equipment onto vehicles, vessels, or aircraft.
  • PLC programming using platforms such as Siemens, Rockwell Automation, or Schneider Electric; HMI/SCADA systems; and industrial networks such as Modbus TCP/IP or EtherNet/IP.
  • Knowledge of power distribution, grounding/bonding, EMI shielding, and MIL-STD-810G or equivalent environmental qualification standards.
  • Experience with CAD tools for electrical layout and hands-on use of installation tooling, torque specifications, and workmanship standards.
  • Willingness to travel to integration and test sites, including desert/field campaigns and naval facilities.
  • English proficiency is required for EDGE roles unless a posting states otherwise.

Benefits and development

  • EDGE describes access to a learning academy and digital learning platforms, career support, and opportunities to collaborate with international colleagues.
  • Depending on role and seniority, benefits may include family visas, annual flight tickets, medical insurance for employees and dependents, and children's education allowances.
