Role overview

Centre performance and daily work

• Grow membership through community engagement, local partnerships and marketing events.
• Manage debt, revenue and staff efficiency to support profitability.
• Deliver excellent experiences for families and members, from first enquiry through continued progress.
• Lead, coach and develop tutors; model excellent tutoring and support progress in maths and English.
• Champion child safeguarding and wellbeing.
• Monitor and celebrate progress and discuss achievements and next steps with families.
• Build local brand presence and centre reputation, host trial sessions, manage enquiries and welcome new members.
• Manage daily centre operations to run smoothly and efficiently.

Salary

• Starting salary is £27,000 per annum.
• London-area centres receive an additional annual London-weighting uplift of £1,000 to £3,500.

Location and workplace

• Based full-time at an Explore Learning centre.

Contract and schedule

• Full-time, permanent contract.
• Typical schedule: Tuesday 11am–8pm, Wednesday 11am–8pm, Thursday 11am–7pm, Friday 9am–6pm and Saturday 9am–5pm.
• Working hours may vary by centre.
