Job Purpose

ECommerce Specialist will be responsible for the end-to-end management, optimization, and growth of the AKI's Consumer division’s FMCG portfolio across all strategic third-party online marketplaces and Q-Commerce platforms.

This role is crucial for driving sales, maximizing visibility, and ensuring operational excellence on platforms such as Amazon, Noon, Noon Minutes, Tmart, Careem Quick, El Grocer and similar regional/global channels.

1. Retail & Q-Commerce Platform Management

  • Account Ownership: Serve as the primary point of contact for daily operations across all assigned platforms (Amazon, Noon, Careem Quick, etc.).
  • Catalog Management: Oversee the integrity of the product catalog, including bulk uploads, managing SKUs, ensuring accurate pricing, and maintaining stock parity across all platforms.
  • Onboarding & Expansion: Lead the process of listing new products and onboarding the company to new Q-Commerce or marketplace channels as required.
  • Create and manage A+ content, Brand Store, and Storefront on Amazon to deliver enhanced product presentation and customer engagement.

2. Sales & Promotion Strategy

  • Planning & Execution: Develop and implement the monthly/quarterly promotional calendar, planning strategic deals, bundles, coupons, and flash sales unique to each platform's shopper base.
  • Pricing Strategy: Conduct regular competitor analysis on pricing and promotions to ensure brand competitiveness while protecting the brand's contribution margin.
  • Demand Generation: Plan and execute paid advertising campaigns (e.g., Amazon Sponsored Ads, Noon PLA, Tmart Ad’s) to maximize visibility, drive traffic, and achieve optimal ACoS/RoAS.
  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key stakeholders at the e-retailer level, fostering a collaborative environment to achieve mutually beneficial goals.
  • Collaborate closely with Brand Managers and the Marketing team to develop compelling artwork and creatives for marketing campaigns and promotional strategies.

3. Inventory & Operational Coordination

  • Forecasting: Collaborate closely with the Supply Chain and Planning teams to forecast platform-specific demand, ensuring optimal inventory levels to prevent stock-outs or overstocking (especially critical for Q-Commerce's instant delivery model).
  • Order Fulfillment: Monitor order flow, processing, and logistics with the warehouse and logistics partners to ensure orders meet the delivery SLAs of each platform.
  • Reconciliation: Work with the Finance team to track sales, manage chargebacks, reconcile payments, and monitor platform fees and commissions.

Experience, Skills & Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, eCommerce, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of proven hands-on experience in managing eCommerce operations, specifically within Amazon Seller/Vendor Central and/or Noon Partner Portal
  • Proven experience in the FMCG, CPG, or Grocery sector will be an added advantage
  • Strong practical knowledge of Q-Commerce platforms (Careem Quick, Tmart, Noon Minutes, El Grocer) operations is a significant advantage.
  • Proficiency in platform tools (e.g., Amazon Ads Console, Noon Sponsored Ads), Microsoft Excel (advanced data analysis, Pivot Tables), and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
