Job Purpose

The E-Commerce Product Lead is responsible for leading the development, delivery, and continuous enhancement of customer-facing digital commerce platforms across multiple brands and markets.

He/she oversees product roadmap execution, platform operations, stakeholder alignment, and vendor partnerships while ensuring the successful delivery of digital initiatives that enhance customer experience and support business growth.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the e-commerce product roadmap for front-end platforms in alignment with business objectives, customer needs, and market expansion plans.
  • Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle, from requirements gathering and prioritization through development, testing, deployment, and post-release monitoring.
  • Manage cross-functional collaboration between Trading, CRM, SEO, Creative, Finance, Technology, and external partners to ensure successful delivery of product initiatives.
  • Lead the resolution of critical platform incidents by coordinating internal teams, vendors, and technology partners to minimize business disruption and ensure service continuity.
  • Lead Agile delivery processes, including sprint planning, backlog prioritization, progress tracking, resource alignment, and release governance to ensure timely execution of initiatives.
  • Oversee platform operations by monitoring site performance, order management processes, payment gateway functionality, and customer-facing platform health across regional storefronts.
  • Manage third-party integrations and external technology partnerships, ensuring successful implementation, testing, governance, and ongoing operational support.
  • Oversee vendor relationships, Statements of Work, service agreements, budget utilization, and contract renewals while ensuring compliance with organizational requirements.
  • Evaluate platform performance metrics and recommend enhancements to improve customer experience, operational efficiency, and commercial outcomes.
  • Lead the adoption of AI-powered tools and digital productivity solutions to enhance product management practices, optimize workflows, and improve delivery effectiveness.
  • Maintain regular reporting on roadmap progress, platform performance, key risks, and delivery status while providing recommendations to senior stakeholders.
  • Recruit, train, motivate, and evaluate the team to ensure that the department has the necessary skill base, and that staff are optimally motivated and enabled to maximize their potential and contribution to the company.

Language Proficiency

  • Fluency in English.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) and Shopify, including storefront management, platform configuration, integrations, and software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes.
  • Proficiency in digital commerce product management, including roadmap development, requirements gathering, prioritization, sprint planning, backlog management, release governance, and product lifecycle management.
  • Proficiency in utilizing Agile/Scrum methodologies, Jira, and AI productivity tools to support product delivery, workflow optimization, and operational efficiency.
  • Proficiency in managing payment gateway integrations, third-party technology integrations, and coordination with payment service providers (PSPs) across multiple markets.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with Figma or similar design collaboration platforms.

Specific Skills

  • Familiarity with web infrastructure, security, and hosting concepts, including SSL certificates, DNS management, Web Application Firewalls (WAF), and related technologies.
  • Working knowledge of digital analytics tools, including Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Tag Manager (GTM).

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, or Computer Science, or Information Technology, or a related field.

General Experience

  • Six to eight years of experience in E-Commerce, or Digital Product Management, or Technology Delivery, or a similar role.

Managerial Experience

  • Three years of experience in a managerial role.
