Demand & Supply Planner (Food)

Overview

• JM Foods is on the lookout for a motivated and astute individual to join its family and run its demand & supply planning setup.

• Someone who will ensure our operations are timely, efficient, and cost-effective.
• Importantly, someone who is a number cruncher and able to derive meaning from even the most meaningless of numbers.
• This role will see you taking ownership and responsibility for the full spectrum of planning including
• the development of effective forecast models based on industry trends and demand patterns;
• supporting management with risk assessments and mitigation activities; proposing and implementing solutions to improve demand forecast accuracy;
• successful and timely communication of forecast and inventory estimations to senior management;
• monitoring and report on important changes in sales forecasts, budgets, and business strategies;
• conducting monthly forecast maintenance; and
• addressing demand-related issues in a timely and effective manner among others.
• To succeed in this role, you should be professional, highly-analytical, and possess excellent communication skills.
• You should also have an in-depth knowledge of advanced mathematical and forecasting methodologies.
