The E-commerce Director is a part-time remote role responsible for leading and optimizing the company's online sales channels.
The role oversees e-commerce strategy, online product catalogs, customer journey improvements, and digital growth initiatives.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead the e-commerce strategy and manage online product catalogs.
- Ensure a seamless customer journey from discovery to purchase.
- Analyze website performance and conversion data.
- Coordinate digital marketing campaigns.
- Align pricing and promotions with sales objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve user experience and operational efficiency.
- Manage e-commerce projects and timelines.
- Supervise third-party vendors or platforms.
- Report on key performance indicators to inform decision-making and growth initiatives.
Qualifications
- Strong e-commerce and sales experience, with the ability to drive online revenue growth and manage digital sales channels.
- Demonstrated analytical skills to interpret data, track KPIs, and convert insights into actionable strategies.
- Proven project management capabilities to plan, prioritize, and deliver e-commerce initiatives on schedule and within scope.
- Marketing knowledge to coordinate online campaigns, optimize product positioning, and enhance digital brand visibility.
- Background in managing or leading remote teams, with clear communication and collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms, web analytics tools, and CRM or ERP systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Digital Commerce, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Fluency in written and spoken English; additional language skills are advantageous.
