Experience and qualifications

  • 3 to 4 years of experience as a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations Technical Consultant.
  • Experience implementing, customizing, and providing training for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations.
  • Ability to validate technical designs, functional solutions, enhancements, and integrations with other business applications or products.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical ideas to technical and non-technical audiences and collaborate across teams.
  • Professional Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations certifications are a plus.
  • A bachelor's degree in computer science or a relevant field.

Technical skills

  • Design, develop, and deploy applications and workflows using Power Apps, Power Automate, Copilot, and Azure AI Studio.
  • Contribute to solution architecture, apply Microsoft architecture practices, and establish Power Platform coding standards and design patterns.
  • Design integrations with SharePoint, SQL Server, and other applications; API knowledge and experience are required.
  • Understand Power BI, Power Apps, Microsoft Dataverse, and Azure.
  • Use Copilot Studio to design, test, publish, and monitor enterprise AI agents and agent-driven processes.
  • Apply MCP concepts and securely integrate AI agents with approved tools, APIs, Dataverse, Dynamics 365 F&O, and external data sources.
  • Knowledge includes AI Builder, generative AI prompts, grounding, RAG, prompt design, and responsible AI practices.
  • Awareness of Entra ID, OAuth 2.0, managed identities or service principals, least-privilege access, auditability, and secure authentication.
  • Experience with Power Platform administration, governance, ALM, managed solutions, source control, automated pipelines, and controlled deployments.

ERP implementation and support

  • Review proposed Dynamics 365 F&O solutions, processes, and customizations; participate in implementation and validate proposed efforts.
  • Validate business requirements, solution design, CRPs, business impact analyses, and configurations.
  • Execute user acceptance testing and other testing and validation activities.
  • Assess gaps between client requirements and Dynamics 365 F&O functionality and review implementation partner proposals.
  • Collaborate with vendors and team members to validate workarounds, solution designs, and configurations.
  • Analyze business processes for improvement opportunities and provide day-to-day operational support to business users.
  • Integrate Microsoft Dynamics solutions with other systems and products in collaboration with technical teams.
  • Conduct user training, troubleshoot issues, and address user queries to support effective system adoption.

AI and automation delivery

  • Identify AI and automation use cases across Finance and Operations with business value, human oversight, security, and measurable outcomes.
  • Design and develop Copilot Studio agents, AI-enabled Power Apps, Power Automate flows, and reusable prompts integrated with Dynamics 365 F&O and enterprise services.
  • Evaluate MCP-based integrations or governed custom connectors, ensuring authentication, authorization, data minimization, logging, and error handling.
  • Administer and govern Power Platform environments, connectors, DLP policies, security roles, deployments, capacity, and operational monitoring.
  • Establish AI solution testing and quality controls for groundedness, accuracy, safety, fallback behavior, telemetry, user acceptance, and production rollout.
  • Maintain technical documentation for AI agents, prompts, knowledge sources, integrations, data access, deployment dependencies, support procedures, and known limitations.
  • Promote responsible AI principles including fairness, reliability, privacy, security, inclusiveness, transparency, and accountability.
