Avrioc is hiring a hands-on Data Scientist to develop, train, optimize, and deploy AI models in production environments.
The role calls for expertise in deep learning, NLP, computer vision, speech processing, distributed model training, and GPU optimization.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, train, validate, and optimize frontier AI models.
- Work on large-scale multimodal use cases.
- Optimize inference and training recipes for GPU-based environments.
- Take models from ideation through training and inference scaling to production deployment.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to deliver scalable AI solutions in a research-friendly setting.
Must-have requirements
- At least 4 years of professional experience in AI, including model training, inference optimization, distributed systems, systems programming, or GPU programming.
- Strong hands-on deep learning model-training experience.
- Strong programming skills in C/C++, Rust, Zig, or similar languages.
- Strong experience with the libtorch/PyTorch ecosystem and open-source inference engines such as vLLM, SGLang, or Llama.cpp.
- Hands-on experience with CUDA, ROCm, and their template libraries.
- Strong Linux and shell scripting experience.
Good-to-have experience
- Experience with remote server interfaces such as AWS EC2.
- Experience with ROCm or AMD GPU technologies.
- TensorRT, ONNX, CoreML, or edge-device performance optimization experience.
- Experience with SLURM, OCI, Kubernetes, Docker, or MLFlow.
- Experience with large-scale AI/ML systems.
