Role overview

Process control and cybersecurity

• Build and deploy control systems for plant projects with Process Automation Engineers.
• Participate in industrial control system cybersecurity assessments and deployments.
• Configure and install PCs and servers for process-control applications.
• Troubleshoot testing, commissioning, and start-up issues involving process-control PCs, servers, and DT activities.
• Develop zone and conduit diagrams and Purdue Enterprise Reference Architecture models for process-control systems.
• Design, configure, and deploy plant-floor applications for malware protection, antivirus, disaster recovery, safelisting, asset management, remote access, intrusion detection, and other OT protections.

Infrastructure and team support

• Work with vendors and follow industry best practices for infrastructure support.
• Optimize work processes and implement automation to improve service efficiency and productivity.
• Help train, orient, and bring new team members up to speed.
• Demonstrate technical leadership and project delivery from the project site.

Education and experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or an Engineering discipline, or equivalent work experience.
• At least 15 years of DT experience or comparable experience with process control systems.
• Hands-on field experience at active construction or project sites before the operational phase.

Technical qualifications

• Experience with Windows 7, Windows 10, and Windows 11, and Windows Server 2016, 2019, and 2022.
• Experience with Symantec Endpoint Protection, Acronis Backup, Netop Remote Control, and McAfee Application Safelisting.
• Experience with TCP/IP network protocols, DNS, DHCP, firewalls, and Active Directory.
• Familiarity with industrial control systems such as Siemens PCS7, Honeywell, or ABB.
• IEC 62443 and NIST SP-800 knowledge is a plus; ISA99/IEC 62443 Cybersecurity Fundamentals Specialist Certificate is a plus.
• Willingness to learn and develop security administration skills.
