ATIS is seeking a Draftsman to join its technical team as its project portfolio grows.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed shop drawings for interior fit-out and joinery, including ceilings, partitions, flooring, wall finishes, doors, and cabinetry.
- Develop joinery fabrication drawings with accurate dimensions, sections, elevations, and material specifications for the workshop.
- Review architectural and interior design drawings and translate them into buildable shop drawings; revise and resubmit based on consultant and client comments.
- Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and the joinery workshop to resolve technical issues; incorporate site measurements and as-built conditions.
- Coordinate with MEP drawings to avoid service clashes and prepare as-built drawings upon project completion.
- Maintain a drawing register and revision control; assist the Quantity Surveyor with take-off drawings when required.
Requirements
- Diploma or degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- AutoCAD proficiency is required; Revit, SketchUp, or 3D modeling knowledge is an advantage.
- Good understanding of joinery detailing, fit-out materials, and construction methods; ability to interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines.
- Two years of Draftsman experience and two years of construction or joinery experience are required.
- UAE fit-out or joinery experience is preferred; fresh graduates with strong drafting skills are also encouraged to apply.
