The Designated Person Ashore acts as the link between vessels and shore management.
Job description
- Ensure compliance with the ISM Code, SOLAS, MARPOL, and the company SMS.
- Monitor vessel safety, environmental, and operational compliance.
- Follow up on incidents, near misses, deficiencies, and corrective actions.
- Coordinate audits, inspections, risk assessments, and safety reports.
- Support emergency response and incident investigations.
Requirements
- Experience in DPA, ISM, or marine safety; oil tanker experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of maritime regulations and tanker operations.
- Good English communication and reporting skills.
- Relevant maritime certification is preferred.
Pay
- Pay starts at AED 15,000 per month.
Work location
- Work is in person.
