Role Overview
Glow Shipping Lines LLC is seeking an experienced Port Captain to join its team in the UAE.
The role focuses on tanker operations, maritime safety, compliance, inspections, and port support.
Requirements
- Valid Master Mariner Certificate of Competency under STCW II/2.
- Proven experience as Master on oil or product tankers.
- Knowledge of advanced and basic oil tanker cargo operations.
- Experience with the ISM Code, ISM internal auditing, and company or shipboard Safety Management Systems.
- DPA training, valid STCW mandatory courses, and ISPS or maritime security training.
- Experience with incident and accident investigation, risk assessment, and HAZID.
- SIRE tanker inspection experience and knowledge of TMSA.
- Relevant international tanker experience is welcomed.

- Location: UAE.
- Work location: In person.

Responsibilities
- Support port and tanker operations as an experienced Port Captain.
- Apply oil and product tanker cargo operations knowledge to shipboard and port activities.
- Maintain compliance with the ISM Code, STCW requirements, ISPS requirements, and company Safety Management Systems.
- Conduct or support internal audits, incident and accident investigations, and risk assessments.
- Support tanker inspection readiness, including SIRE requirements and TMSA practices.
