Overview
We are looking for a knowledgeable and detail-oriented DOH Optometrist to join our team.
The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of ophthalmic and contact lenses, major eyewear brands, and strong problem-solving and multitasking skills.
Accuracy, good customer service, and willingness to learn are important for this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of **progressive lens ranges** across all major brands.
- Accurately **mark and verify lenses** for **Single Vision, Bifocals, and Progressives**.
- Maintain overall knowledge of **ophthalmic lenses**, including materials, indices, types, and coatings.
- Possess thorough understanding of **contact lenses** across all categories, brands, and applications.
- Fit and troubleshoot **specialty contact lenses**, including **Toric** and **Multifocal** lenses.
- Maintain a working knowledge of **major branded eyewear** and assist in frame selection.
- **Analyze and resolve** both technical and customer-related issues effectively and professionally.
- **Multitask** efficiently and remain calm and professional in high-pressure or fast-paced situations.
- Exhibit a **willingness to learn** and participate in ongoing training and skill development.
