DOH Licensed Optometrist
About This Role
We are looking for a knowledgeable and detail-oriented DOH Optometrist to join our team. The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of ophthalmic and contact lenses, major eyewear brands, and strong problem-solving and multitasking skills. Accuracy, good customer service, and willingness to learn are important for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of progressive lens ranges across all major brands.
- Accurately mark and verify lenses for Single Vision, Bifocals, and Progressives.
- Maintain overall knowledge of ophthalmic lenses, including materials, indices, types, and coatings.
- Possess thorough understanding of contact lenses across all categories, brands, and applications.
- Fit and troubleshoot specialty contact lenses, including Toric and Multifocal lenses.
- Maintain a working knowledge of major branded eyewear and assist in frame selection.
- Analyze and resolve both technical and customer-related issues effectively and professionally.
- Multitask efficiently and remain calm and professional in high-pressure or fast-paced situations.
- Exhibit a willingness to learn and participate in ongoing training and skill development.
