Overview
- Implement and maintain document control procedures and systems.
- Manage all incoming and outgoing documents (electronic and hard copy).
- Ensure proper document numbering, formatting, filing, and archiving.
- Maintain and update the Document Management System (DMS) and Master Document Register.
- Coordinate document flow between internal teams, clients, and suppliers.
- Monitor document review and approval processes as per project schedules.
- Ensure all technical documents and drawings are properly recorded and distributed.
- Support compliance with company standards and project requirements.
- Provide administrative support including reporting, presentations, and coordination activities.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline such as Engineering, Business Administration, or Document Management.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Document Controller in a construction, engineering, or oil & gas environment.
- Strong knowledge of document control procedures, standards, and best practices.
- Familiarity with Document Management Systems and related software.
- Proficiency with document management software such as Aconex, SharePoint, or comparable systems.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills with keen attention to detail.
- Good command of English, both written and spoken.
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with project teams and contractors.
