Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Document Controller role based in Riyadh.
The Document Controller will manage the creation, receipt, classification, and archiving of documents in both physical and digital formats, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and version control.
The role includes maintaining document registers, updating tracking systems, and ensuring that project documentation and records are properly organized and easily retrievable.
The Document Controller will coordinate with project teams, departments, and external stakeholders to distribute documents, follow up on approvals, and ensure adherence to document control procedures and standards.
Daily tasks also include reviewing documents for compliance, managing access and confidentiality levels, supporting audits, and contributing to continuous improvement of documentation processes.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Document Management, including organizing, storing, tracking, and retrieving documents in structured systems.
- Proficiency in Documentation and Project Documentation, with the ability to prepare, format, and standardize project-related records and files.
- Experience in Records Management, including retention schedules, archiving, and secure disposal of records in line with company policies.
- Effective Communication skills to coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders, clarify requirements, and ensure timely document flow.
- Familiarity with document control software or electronic document management systems (EDMS) and strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple document streams and deadlines.
- Ability to work on-site in Riyadh, collaborate in a team environment, and follow standardized procedures and quality standards.
- Relevant diploma or bachelor’s degree in administration, information management, or a related field; prior experience as a Document Controller or in a similar role is an advantage.
