Job Description
**Arkiten International Contracting LLC** is seeking an organized, dual-skilled **Document Controller cum Store Keeper** to manage site-level administration and inventory control.
This hybrid role requires managing drawing revisions and technical paperwork while simultaneously organizing, securing, and tracking specialized materials, steel hardware, and fabrics on-site.
Key Responsibilities
- **Document Control:** Log, track, and distribute incoming/outgoing shop drawings, material submittals, RFI responses, and site correspondence. Maintain a rigorous revision control system so the site team never builds off outdated drawings.
- **Store Keeping:** Receive and verify incoming shipments of fabricated steel, specialized brackets, tensile fabric rolls, and accessories against delivery notes and packing lists.
- Inspect incoming shipments for transit damage and store them securely to prevent material degradation, staining, or theft on site.
- Manage the issuance of site tools, specialized tensioning equipment, and hardware to the installation crews, maintaining precise stock logs.
- Prepare weekly inventory reports and updated document tracking registers for management review.
Requirements & Qualifications
- **Experience:** Minimum 2 years of experience combining document control and storekeeping within the UAE construction, contracting, or steel fabrication sector.
- **Technical Skills:** Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and managing cloud-based or local project folder systems.
- Exceptional organizational skills; must have a methodical approach to tracking paperwork and matching physical stock to digital records.
- Good communication skills to interact clearly with suppliers, project engineers, and laborers.

- **Transportation:** All work-related transport during active project deployments will be fully provided and managed by Arkiten.
- **Accommodation:** If an active project site is located a significant distance from Dubai (preventing a daily commute), company accommodation will be provided. For projects within standard commuting distance or during periods without active site assignments, the candidate is responsible for their own permanent accommodation and daily commute to the office/base.
- Pay: AED2,500.00 per month
