Experienced Document Controller role supporting project documentation and document control procedures throughout the project lifecycle.
Construction contracting experience is required.
Responsibilities
- Manage project documents, records, and correspondence; control issuance, distribution, revision, and archiving.
- Maintain drawings, BOQs, specifications, contracts, RFIs, submittals, approvals, and technical documents.
- Code, number, date, and file documents correctly; maintain registers and track approvals, revisions, and outstanding items.
- Coordinate submissions among project teams, consultants, contractors, and clients; distribute approved documents.
- Maintain electronic and hard-copy filing systems; prepare transmittals and submission records.
- Follow up on pending documents, remove obsolete versions from circulation, and support retrieval and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with company document control procedures and project requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in a relevant field.
- 2–5 years of experience as a Document Controller in construction contracting.
- Strong knowledge of construction project documentation and workflows.
- Experience with drawings, technical submittals, RFIs, method statements, material submittals, and project correspondence.
- Familiarity with document management systems and Microsoft Office.
- Strong organization and communication skills; able to manage multiple documents and deadlines.
Preferred skills and background
- Aconex, Procore, SharePoint, or similar document control system experience is an advantage.
- UAE/GCC construction experience is preferred.
- Candidates with main contractor, civil contractor, MEP contractor, fit-out contractor, or other construction contracting experience are preferred.
Compensation
- Salary is AED 4,000–6,000 per month; the pay line also lists AED 2,100–6,000 per month.

- Work location is in person in Dubai, UAE.
