Division Operation Manager (Construction - focused)

Reporting directly to the Energy Division Director, the role provides senior, hands-on construction leadership across a portfolio of Oil & Gas projects .

Working closely with Project Directors and Project Managers, the role will coordinate construction resources, methodologies, strategies and execution plans across projects , create synergies between sites, and help resolve critical cross-project construction challenges.

The position is strongly construction-focused , bringing practical field leadership and a portfolio-wide perspective to strengthen execution, productivity and delivery.

Lead construction execution across multiple Oil & Gas projects, giving senior hands-on support to project teams.

Manage and reallocate manpower and specialist resources across the portfolio, creating synergies between sites.

Develop, review and challenge construction methodologies and execution plans.

Act as the senior escalation point, helping Project Directors and Managers resolve major construction issues.

Drive productivity, efficiency and consistent HSE and quality standards.

Support new project mobilisation, tenders and pre-construction planning.

Maintain a strong site presence and intervene when performance or resources require action.

Support the selection and development of key construction personnel.

Engineering degree (B.Sc. or M.Sc.).

25–30 years in Oil & Gas construction (around 20 years considered for exceptional candidates).

Proven Construction Director-level experience with a construction-focused contractor, leading site construction across multiple projects and owning resources, methodologies and execution plans.

Experience on projects of USD 500 million–1 billion.

Strong Middle East experience, ideally in the UAE (KSA also considered).

Excellent English and high mobility; ADNOC experience preferred, Aramco experience and Arabic a plus.

Hands-on Construction Leader: Has personally led complex construction work and can challenge methodologies, resourcing decisions and execution plans with credibility.

Cross-Project Resource Manager: Sees the portfolio as a whole and actively moves resources to where they create the greatest operational value.

Impactful Influencer : Builds authority through expertise, sound judgement and collaboration, particularly with experienced project leaders.

Decisive Problem Solver: Acts decisively on field constraints and develops practical solutions before issues escalate.

Stakeholder Partner: Works constructively with Project Management and functional heads while maintaining clear accountability.

Execution-Driven Leader: Upholds high standards of HSE, quality, productivity and delivery discipline.
