DISPATCHER - READYMIX COMPANY

Job Summary

Dispatch & Scheduling

• Plan and schedule **daily concrete deliveries** based on production and site requirements
• Assign **transit mixers and drivers** to delivery orders efficiently
• Monitor and track vehicle movements to ensure **on-time delivery**
• Adjust schedules in real-time to manage delays or urgent requests

Coordination & Communication

• Coordinate with **batching plant operators, drivers, and site teams**
• Communicate delivery schedules and updates to customers
• Handle client queries related to delivery status and timing

Operations Monitoring

• Track fleet utilization, turnaround times, and delivery efficiency
• Ensure proper sequencing of deliveries to avoid site delays
• Monitor **loading and dispatch activities** at the plant

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain **dispatch logs, delivery notes, and records**
• Prepare daily reports on deliveries, delays, and fleet performance
• Update systems with accurate dispatch data

Problem Solving

• Address delivery issues such as traffic delays, breakdowns, or site constraints
• Coordinate with maintenance team in case of vehicle breakdowns
• Ensure quick resolution to maintain service levels

Compliance & Safety

• Ensure adherence to **company policies and safety standards**
• Verify drivers comply with traffic and safety regulations

Required Skills

• Strong **planning and coordination skills**
• Good knowledge of **fleet management and logistics operations**
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Basic computer skills (MS Office, dispatch systems)

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in **Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field** (preferred)

Experience

• Minimum **2–5 years of experience** in dispatching or logistics
• Experience in **readymix, construction, or transport industry** preferred
• GCC experience is an advantage
