Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized Dispatcher / Planner to coordinate daily delivery schedules, vehicle dispatching, and production-related logistics activities.
The successful candidate will ensure timely delivery of products, optimize vehicle utilization, coordinate with customers and internal departments, and maintain accurate dispatch records.
Planning & Scheduling
- Prepare daily and weekly delivery plans based on customer orders and production schedules.
- Coordinate with sales, production, warehouse, and logistics teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Prioritize deliveries based on customer requirements and project deadlines.
- Monitor order status and update schedules as required.
Dispatch Operations
- Assign vehicles and drivers for deliveries.
- Prepare dispatch schedules, delivery notes, and transportation documents.
- Track vehicle movements and delivery progress.
- Ensure efficient route planning to minimize transportation costs and delivery times.
- Monitor loading and unloading activities.
Coordination & Communication
- Communicate delivery schedules to drivers, customers, and internal departments.
- Handle delivery-related issues, delays, and customer inquiries.
- Coordinate with warehouse personnel to ensure products are ready for dispatch.
- Maintain regular communication with transport contractors and third-party logistics providers.
Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain accurate dispatch records and delivery reports.
- Monitor vehicle utilization and transportation performance.
- Prepare daily dispatch and logistics reports.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and safety requirements.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in dispatching, logistics planning, transportation coordination, or supply chain operations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.
