Role Summary
A **logistics dispatcher** is responsible for **coordinating drivers, vehicles, and deliveries** to make sure goods are transported **on time and efficiently**.
Main Duties
- Typical daily responsibilities include:
- Assign delivery jobs to drivers and trucks
- Plan routes to ensure fast and cost-effective delivery
- Track shipments and monitor driver progress
- Communicate with drivers, warehouse, and customers
- Solve delivery issues (delays, breakdowns, wrong location)
- Prepare dispatch documents (invoices, delivery notes, schedules)
- Update systems (ERP / logistics software)
- Ensure compliance with safety and company procedures
- Coordinating **warehouse loading schedules**
- Managing **fleet operations**
- Handling **import/export or freight shipments**
