Role Description

The Dispatcher is responsible for coordinating daily service operations, ensuring that field technicians and maintenance teams are scheduled efficiently for power and oil & gas plant assignments.

This part-time, hybrid role is based in Dubai, with some work-from-home flexibility, and requires timely allocation of resources, monitoring job progress, and updating internal systems with accurate service details.

Daily tasks include receiving and prioritizing service requests, preparing work orders, communicating schedules and changes to onsite teams, and maintaining clear records of equipment and service activities.

The Dispatcher will liaise with customers and internal stakeholders to confirm job requirements, manage urgent requests, and support adherence to safety and operational procedures.

The role also involves basic reporting on service status, identifying scheduling conflicts, and supporting continuous improvement in dispatch and coordination workflows.

Qualifications

  • Strong coordination and organizational skills, including experience managing schedules, work orders, or field service activities.
  • Effective communication skills for interacting with technicians, engineers, and customers, with clear written and spoken English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
  • Comfort with using office and dispatch tools (e.g., spreadsheets, scheduling or ERP systems, email, and messaging platforms).
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation, record keeping, and data entry related to equipment, service jobs, and timelines.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, handle multiple service requests, and work under time constraints in a fast-paced industrial environment.
  • Basic understanding of industrial or engineering service operations, preferably in power generation or oil & gas; prior experience in a similar dispatcher or coordinator role is beneficial.
  • High level of reliability, integrity, and customer-service mindset aligned with TCS LLC’s values; ability to work independently in a hybrid setting.
  • Relevant education such as a diploma or bachelor’s degree in business administration, logistics, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
