Role overview
Oversee dispatch of food and catering items from a central kitchen to client locations, ensuring timely delivery, accuracy, and compliance with quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Plan daily dispatch schedules based on client requirements.
- Ensure food items are packed, labelled, and loaded correctly.
- Coordinate timely departures with drivers and the logistics team.
- Verify orders against delivery notes.
- Check packaging and temperature control during transit.
- Guide dispatch staff in loading and handling food items; maintain hygiene and safety in the dispatch area.
- Maintain dispatch, delivery-time, and discrepancy records; report delays, shortages, or issues to the Project Manager.
- Ensure proper handling of fragile or perishable items and follow HACCP and food safety guidelines.
Schedule
- Full-time role with flexibility during peak catering hours.
- Occasional weekend or holiday work may be required based on project needs.
Compensation
- Pay is AED 2,200–2,400 per month.
Workplace
- Work location is in person.
