Director, Product & Strategy

Location and work arrangement

• Hybrid role in Toronto or the Greater Toronto Area, Ontario, with three days per week in the office.
• Candidates must reside in Toronto or the GTA and be legally authorized to work in Canada.
• Approximately 10–20% travel.

Compensation

• Base salary is CAD $140,000–$160,000 per year, with eligibility for a 15% bonus.

Role overview

Client and relationship leadership

• Serve as senior point of contact for assigned clients and build relationships with operational and executive stakeholders.
• Translate client needs and business goals into problem statements, solution strategies, and delivery roadmaps.
• Identify account opportunities, shape proposals and statements of work, and expand scope and long-term partnerships.
• Manage expectations, scope, risks, and escalations to maintain commercial and operational engagement health.

Delivery and team leadership

• Lead and mentor cross-functional delivery teams, including product managers, business analysts, UX designers, DevOps engineers, developers, and tech leads.
• Direct planning, resourcing, quality, timelines, budgets, and delivery outcomes across engagements.
• Establish delivery standards, ways of working, and reusable practices; attract, coach, and develop talent.

Product and solution strategy

• Shape solution architectures and product strategies to fit client operations, budgets, and roadmaps.
• Own discovery, prioritization, and delivery for Fulfillment IQ’s internal innovation products, IP, and platforms.
• Turn supply chain and fulfillment technology trends into practical recommendations and differentiated offerings.
• Partner with sales, partnerships, and leadership to align solutions with market opportunities.

Required qualifications

• At least 8 years of relevant experience, including leadership of technology delivery, product, or professional-services teams.
• Proven senior client relationship management and account growth experience.
• Strong software delivery command across product management, requirements, UX, full-stack engineering, DevOps, and agile practices.
• Experience shaping solution strategy, creating deliverable roadmaps, leading cross-functional teams, and setting delivery standards.
• Product ownership ability and excellent communication and executive presence.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.

Preferred skills and experience

• Supply chain, fulfillment, logistics, WMS/OMS/TMS, or e-commerce technology experience is strongly preferred.
• Pre-sales and solutioning, cloud platforms and DevOps tools, Jira or roadmapping tools, and data and analytics literacy are good-to-have skills.
• PMP, SAFe, CSM/CSPO, or equivalent certifications are good-to-have; consultancy, systems integrator, retail technology, or 3PL experience is also welcomed.
