About the client
The client is a fast-growing retail group serving Middle Eastern markets and partnering with international fashion and lifestyle brands.
The organization operates across consumer categories in the GCC and aims to serve as a regional gateway for international retailers.
Role responsibilities
- Lead strategic initiatives and track milestones against long-term business objectives.
- Oversee culture campaigns and develop an annual strategy to embed organizational values.
- Drive employee engagement programs and coordinate leadership sessions, speakers, activities, and discussions.
- Coordinate company-wide initiatives and monitor participation and satisfaction targets.
- Coordinate performance reporting across departments and support executive decision-making.
- Use engagement surveys and feedback to evaluate and adjust plans.
- Lead relevant annual budgeting, manage OPEX, and establish variance tracking and cost-optimization processes.
- Improve operational efficiency, internal communication, and stakeholder coordination while minimizing escalations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related engineering discipline from a recognized university.
- Professional engineering registration and/or a recognized project management qualification such as PMP or PRINCE2 is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of infrastructure design and construction standards, contract administration, project controls, and Dubai authority approval processes.
- At least 12 years of progressive infrastructure project delivery experience, including 5 years in senior project management or leadership.
- Experience delivering large-scale roads, utilities, and master-development infrastructure projects from design through handover.
- Substantial UAE experience and practical knowledge of Dubai authorities, utility providers, regulations, and stakeholders are preferred.
