Overview
Lead and manage all procurement activities across joinery and fit-out projects, ensuring cost efficiency, quality, and timely delivery from sourcing through installation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with project timelines and budgets
- Source and negotiate with suppliers, manufacturers, and subcontractors (local & international)
- Manage procurement of raw materials (wood, veneers, laminates, hardware, finishes) and FF&E items
- Establish and maintain supplier, distributor, and sub-distributor networks
- Oversee factory coordination, production planning, and quality control processes
- Lead contract negotiations, pricing agreements, and supplier performance evaluations
- Ensure compliance with specifications, standards, and project requirements
- Monitor logistics, shipping, and delivery schedules to meet project deadlines
- Optimize cost, value engineering, and risk management across projects
- Collaborate with design, project management, and commercial teams
Requirements
- Proven experience in procurement within joinery, woodworking, or fit-out industry
- Strong knowledge of materials, suppliers, and manufacturing processes
- Excellent negotiation and contract management skills
- Experience managing supply chains and international sourcing
- Commercially driven with strong cost-control mindset
- Leadership experience managing procurement teams
