About This Role
Job Summary:
Alcy Modern Furniture & Design is seeking a highly experienced Director of Modern Furniture Production to lead manufacturing operations and production strategy in Doha. This senior leadership role offers the opportunity to oversee end-to-end furniture production, drive operational efficiency, and ensure high-quality output across modern furniture lines. If you have strong experience in furniture manufacturing, production management, and operations leadership, this role offers high impact, career growth, and competitive compensation.
What you'll do:
- Lead and manage furniture production operations from planning to final delivery
- Oversee manufacturing processes, workshops, and production teams
- Ensure product quality, consistency, and adherence to design specifications
- Optimize production workflows, efficiency, and cost control
- Manage procurement of raw materials, suppliers, and inventory levels
- Implement process improvements, automation, and lean manufacturing practices
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and operational regulations
- Collaborate with design and sales teams to align production with customer demand
- Monitor production KPIs, timelines, and performance metrics
- Build and lead high-performing production and operations teams
Requirements:
- Experience in furniture manufacturing, production management, or industrial operations
- Strong understanding of production processes, materials, and manufacturing techniques
- Ability to manage large-scale production and multiple teams
- Leadership and team management experience
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
- Familiarity with production planning systems and operational tools
- Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Design, or related field
