Our client is currently hiring for the position of Director Of Internal Audit, Governance & Compliance.
Responsibilities
- Conduct periodic governance audits as well as financial audits as and when required.
- Lead internal audits across financial, operational, and compliance areas
- Evaluate adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls and processes
- Report audit findings, risks, and recommendations to senior management and the Audit Committee.
- Develop and implement governance and compliance policies and procedures across organizations
- Ensure compliance with UAE laws, regulations, and industry-specific requirements
- Produce and present monthly risk appetite report to management
- Establish and maintain an enterprise risk management framework
- Identify key business risks and ensure appropriate mitigation measures are in place
- Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory inspectors
