Overview
IT Director is required by our fast growing client
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing AI initiatives implemented throughout the business and its subsidiaries.
You will also oversee infrastructure, ERP, security, digital transformation, and lead the IT team to enhance overall business performance.
Responsibilities
- **IT Strategy & Alignment:**
- Develop and execute IT strategies that align with company business objectives and Saudi Vision 2030, enhancing efficiency and profitability.
- **Operational Leadership:**
- Oversee IT infrastructure, systems, ERP systems, cloud platforms, networks, and cybersecurity protocols.
- **Digital Transformation:**
- Lead initiatives involving cloud adoption, automation, and modernization of business processes.
- **Team Leadership:**
- Lead, mentor, and train IT staff, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- **Budgeting & Vendor Management:**
- Manage IT budgets, control costs, and negotiate with technology vendors and service providers.
- **Governance & Security:**
- Establish IT policies, procedures, and data security standards, ensuring robust backup and disaster recovery plans.
- **Stakeholder Management:**
- Collaborate with executive management and other departments to identify technological requirements.
- Essential requirements
- 7–10+ years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role (IT Manager, Head of IT, or Director).
- Strong technical knowledge of IT infrastructure and cloud solutions, combined with proven strategic planning abilities.
- High proficiency in English, with Arabic language skills strongly preferred.
- Experience in the Saudi Arabian market and an understanding of local regulatory compliance is essential.
- Experience Successfully driving major digital transformation projects.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
