Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Director of Information Technology located in Abu Dhabi. The Director of IT will oversee the organization's technology strategy, manage and enhance IT operations, and ensure the robustness and security of networking systems. Key responsibilities include implementing advanced IT solutions, establishing secure and scalable IT infrastructures, managing budgetary and technological resources, and leading a team in delivering innovative technology advancements aligned with organizational goals.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in IT Management and IT Operations, demonstrating the ability to lead high-performing teams and ensure efficient daily operations
- Comprehensive knowledge and skills in Information Technology and IT Strategy, with a proven track record of developing and implementing effective technology roadmaps
- Proficiency in Network Security practices and systems to ensure efficient safeguarding of organizational data
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Ability to communicate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
- 15 years of Experience in budget management, strategic planning, and vendor negotiations
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required; a Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, PMP, ITIL) is preferred
- Experience in the engineering or technology sector, especially within large enterprises, is a plus
