Director of Events Luxury Hotel KAFD

Job Scope

• Develop and implement an annual event strategy aligned with business goals, revenue targets, and market opportunities.
• Identify and secure new event business segments, partnerships, and corporate clients to expand market share.
• Collaborate with Sales & Marketing on promotional campaigns, packages, and seasonal event offerings
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, event planners, corporate accounts, and government entities.
• Lead contract negotiations, proposals, and pricing discussions to optimize revenue while ensuring client satisfaction.
• Oversee client communication from initial inquiry to post-event follow-up, ensuring exceptional service at every touchpoint.
• Supervise the planning, design, and delivery of all hotel events, ensuring operational excellence and adherence to brand standards.
• Coordinate with culinary, banquet operations, IT, housekeeping, security, and other departments to execute events flawlessly.
• Approve event function sheets, layouts, setups, and timelines.
• Lead, coach, and develop the Events & Banquets team to ensure high performance and excellent guest service.
• Set departmental goals, KPIs, and performance metrics, ensuring continuous improvement.
• Conduct regular training in event management, customer service, upselling, and safety procedures.
• Monitor event profitability, pricing strategies, and cost controls to maximize financial performance.
• Analyze market trends and competitor offerings to refine event pricing and product positioning.
• Ensure all events are delivered to the highest quality standards, exceeding guest and client expectations
• Maintain full compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards for all event operations.
• Ensure adherence to brand guidelines, policies, legal requirements, and service protocols.
• Oversee risk assessments for large-scale and VIP events.
