We are seeking a heavyweight
Technical Engineering Director
to lead a Data Centre business unit.
As a premier EPC contractor, they deliver complex, hyper-scale data centre projects from concept to final handover.
This role requires a seasoned engineering authority with
no less than 20 years of experience
executing turnkey, mission-critical infrastructure projects from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
- **Technical Authority**
- : Serve as the ultimate engineering leader, ensuring design robustness, scalability, and Uptime Tier compliance across all projects
- **End-to-End Execution**
- : Oversee the full project lifecycle: from FEED and detailed MEP/CSA design to procurement support, construction, and final Integrated Systems Testing (IST)
- **Value Engineering**
- : Drive modular construction, cost optimization, and schedule compression without compromising quality
- **Team Leadership**
- : Mentors and scale a multidisciplinary engineering team while acting as the primary technical interface for hyper-scale clients and major vendors
- **Risk Management**
- : Lead constructability reviews, HAZOP studies, and technical risk assessments to pre-empt execution bottlenecks

Required Qualifications & Experience
- ️ Strict Requiremen
- t: Minimum 20 years of experience with a proven track record of delivering greenfield data centre projects from inception to client handover within an EPC environment
- **Educatio**
- n: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering (Master’s/MBA preferred)
- **Credential**
- s: Professional/Chartered Engineer (PE/CEng) status.
- Uptime Institute ATD/ATS certification is highly desirable
- **Technical Master**
- y: Deep knowledge of HV/MV power, UPS/DRUPS, advanced cooling (chilled water, direct-to-chip), and BMS/EPMS
- **EPC Acumen**
- : Strong understanding of turnkey contract structures, CAPEX drivers, and large-scale vendor management.
