The Director – Market Analytics and Contracts leads commercial forecasting, market analytics, and contract management.
The role uses data-driven insights to identify commercial opportunities and align agreements with strategic objectives and relevant regulatory requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Lead market research and benchmarking on global trends, commercial opportunities, and space utilization.
- Analyze passenger demographics, spending behavior, and route-level data to inform concession selection, zoning, and pricing.
- Lead scenario analysis and commercial forecasting across different market conditions.
- Monitor commercial performance and identify contract risks, including underperformance, delayed payments, and expiring agreements.
- Develop contract frameworks covering performance indicators, variable rent terms, and tenant service obligations.
- Support contract structuring and negotiations with analysis of leasing models, revenue sharing, and pricing.
- Monitor contract performance and build financial models for renewals and new commercial opportunities.
- Analyze regional and global airport markets for trends, concession formats, and potential partners.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or equivalent is required.
- A related master’s degree is preferred.
- At least 8 years of experience in a similar or equivalent role, including at least 4 years in a managerial position.
