Role Purpose
The Director -Digital COE is responsible for leading the organization’s data strategy, governance, and analytics capabilities. This role drives the development of data platforms, products, and advanced analytics to enable data-driven decision-making, innovation, and operational efficiency across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of data engineers, data scientists, and BI specialists
- Develop and implement data platforms (data lake/data warehouse) and analytics solutions
- Deliver data-driven insights, BI reporting, and machine learning use cases to business stakeholders
- Ensure data quality, availability, governance, and usability across the organization
- Partner with business units to identify and deliver advanced analytics opportunities
- Drive adoption of data products and foster a data-driven culture
- Align data strategy with overall technology and organizational objectives
- Collaborate with external vendors, technology partners, and academic institutions
- Lead, mentor, and develop the Digital COE team
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field
- 10–15 years of experience in data/analytics roles, with leadership exposure
- Experience in industrial or manufacturing environments preferred
- Strong expertise in data platforms, BI tools, and advanced analytics
- Proficiency in English; Arabic is preferred
