About This Role

Job Purpose

Provide strategic leadership in shaping, governing, and advancing Dubai’s commercial and logistics transport ecosystem. Ensure the formulation and enforcement of policies, processes, and technical frameworks that align with RTA’s strategic directions, UAE regulations, and international best practices. Drive innovation, operational efficiency, and sustainable growth across commercial transport services while ensuring compliance, safety, and service excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy

• Develop commercial and logistics transport policies, frameworks, and manuals in line with RTA strategy, UAE laws, and international standards.
• Prepare future plans to expand and modernize commercial and logistics transport services.
• Align commercial transport activities with Dubai’s future mobility vision and economic development goals.
• Identify investment opportunities and revenue growth areas for commercial and logistics transport projects.

Operations

• Oversee NOCs, licenses, permits, vehicle advertising approvals, and vehicle replacement approvals.
• Monitor and classify companies operating in the commercial and logistics transport sector.
• Ensure operators comply with RTA policies, procedures, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with government entities, franchise operators, logistics providers, and private sector partners.
• Report on operational performance, compliance, and sector trends for executive decision-making.

Product / Process Improvement

• Lead service improvement and development studies for commercial and logistics transport.
• Improve customer satisfaction, efficiency, and digital enablement.
• Review and update technical manuals, standards, and procedures.
• Implement classification and rating mechanisms for commercial transport companies.

Qualifications & Experience

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Transportation Planning, Logistics & Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Public Policy.
• Experience : 16+ years with Master’s degree, or 18+ years with Bachelor’s degree.
