Oil and Gas background/exposure is mandatory
Support a time-bound engagement focused on reviewing, redesigning, and strengthening critical end-to-end business processes across multiple functions. The objective is to address fragmentation in workflows, inconsistent governance, overlapping approvals, unclear accountability, and misalignment between operational practices and enterprise systems, including ERP and HR platforms. With a strong emphasis on delivering practical, sustainable process improvements that enhance efficiency, transparency, and organisational discipline.
Scope of Work
The consultant will assess and enhance key enterprise processes across core functions, including but not limited to: • Financial close and reporting processes • Procurement and vendor payment lifecycle • Human capital processes across the employee lifecycle • Budget development, forecasting, and performance planning • Transition from commercial estimation to project execution • Approval hierarchies and decision-authority frameworks
Key Responsibilities
• Perform detailed current-state assessments through stakeholder interviews and process reviews
• Identify inefficiencies, control weaknesses, bottlenecks, and system gaps
• Design future-state processes aligned with business priorities and industry benchmarks
• Evaluate interdependencies and downstream impacts of proposed changes
• Develop responsibility and accountability frameworks across functions
• Ensure processes are embedded within systems rather than reliant on individuals
• Establish a structured approach for ongoing process review and continuous improvement
Performance Measures
• Measurable reduction in process complexity and approval layers
• Clear ownership established for priority end-to-end processes
• Percentage of critical processes documented and operationalised
• Improved efficiency in cross-functional handovers
• Degree of alignment with ERP and HR system workflows
Requirements
• Minimum 15 years’ experience in business process management, transformation, or advisory roles
• Strong background in ERP-enabled process optimisation, with experience across major platforms
• Exposure to finance, HR, procurement, operations, and project-driven environments
• Solid understanding of recognised BPM frameworks and methodologies
• Advanced capability in process mapping and documentation tools
