Purpose

Lead the digital sales team and contribute strongly to the e-commerce function executing the digital presence strategy across IKEA website and app.

Secure digital content management, communication and merchandising to deliver a strong commercial and customer experience.

Accountabilities

  • Own and drive the digital content and product range merchandising strategy across web and app.
  • Optimize product listing pages, category pages, and landing pages to improve discoverability, engagement, and conversion.
  • Identify opportunities to improve onsite search, filtering, sorting and navigation to improve customer journey.
  • Ensure product information, images, prices, stock availability and commercial messages are accurate and updated.
  • Secure range visibility, buyability and content accuracy across all online platforms in alignment with agreed business rules and commercial priorities.
  • Monitor and optimize online sales and margin development through data-driven decision making, cross-functional collaboration and effective commercial steering initiatives on daily basis.
  • Monitor product availability closely and support target stock levels by aligning e-commerce sales expectations with commercial plans and stakeholder communication.
  • Own the end-to-end execution of the commercial calendar activities from planning through implementation on digital channels
  • Develop local-relevant digital content and merchandising initiatives that reflect market needs, customer insights, seasonal trends and commercial priorities to strengthen customer engagement.
  • Support the growth of organic traffic and digital visibility through effective SEO and content optimization initiatives.
  • Proactively manage content refresh cycles to support commercial priorities and customer engagement.
  • Translate commercial needs into effective content and visual execution together with creative stakeholders
  • Manage and optimize product feeds across third-party and marketing platforms.
  • Actively cooperate with all key stakeholders within commercial and beyond to secure integration, common focus, and maximize impact — including Digital, Fulfilment, Communications, Sustainability, and Business Navigation, Operations & Finance (BNOF).
  • Deliver the reports and insights on product and category performance to support sales, availability and margin development.
  • Contribute insights to key stakeholders in the market and the global matrix on how to improve the omnichannel customer experience.

Qualifications and Experiences

  • Bachelor’s Degree a any related field.
  • 5 years of experience in in e-commerce, digital range, or similar
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Arabic.
  • Experience of digital business and sell-steering in an omnichannel/multichannel environment
  • Experience of working in an IKEA store or other retailer is preferred
  • Experience in driving output within set scope and following up results
  • Extensive knowledge in analytics and how to evolve product strategy based on sales, analytics, and industry trends
  • Broad knowledge of creating qualitative commercial offers and performance
  • Broad knowledge of current home furnishing market trends and end-user needs in the omnichannel shopping experience
  • Broad knowledge of direction setting, creation of strategic and operational goals and plans, and follow-up on KPIs
  • Good knowledge of SEO/SEM and the omnichannel reality
