About the Role
We are looking for a Digital Marketing Technical Proposal Writer with a strong sales background to join our growing team in Karachi.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating compelling, well-structured technical proposals, pitches, and presentations for digital marketing services that help convert leads into clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Write and develop technical proposals, pitch decks, and client presentations for digital marketing services.
- Collaborate with sales, business development, and marketing teams to understand client requirements and craft tailored proposals.
- Translate digital marketing strategies (SEO, PPC, social media, content marketing, performance marketing, web development, etc.) into clear, persuasive documentation.
- Customize proposals based on client industry, goals, and budget.
- Support the sales team with proposal revisions, pricing narratives, and follow-up documentation.
- Ensure all proposals are professionally written, visually structured, and aligned with brand tone and business objectives.
- Maintain a proposal library, templates, and case studies for future use.
- Meet tight deadlines while managing multiple proposals simultaneously.
- The ideal candidate is a motivated, organized, and creative professional who thrives in acquiring and developing new business opportunities.
- You will be responsible for building strong client relationships, identifying market opportunities, and closing high-value deals.
- This role requires extensive knowledge of digital and creative services, including branding, website development, and web/mobile applications, along with strong communication and negotiation skills.
Key Responsibilities:Business Development & Sales Growth
- Cultivate strong, long-term business relationships with key decision-makers.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive sales efforts.
- Develop and execute market strategies by researching high-potential prospects.
- Conduct market research to evaluate customer needs and identify selling possibilities.
- Actively seek out new sales leads via cold calling, networking, email outreach, and social media.
- Set up meetings with potential clients to understand their requirements and pitch tailored solutions.
- Responsible for selling and upselling digital marketing, branding, design, and development services.
- Meet and exceed quarterly revenue targets through strategic business development.
Client Engagement & Account Management
- Communicate professionally via calls, WhatsApp, email, and other channels.
- Manage client relationships from lead generation to deal closure and ongoing retention.
- Understand client pain points and provide innovative solutions aligned with their needs.
- Handle client objections, negotiate contracts, and maintain high client satisfaction.
- Attend exhibitions, events, and conferences to represent the company and generate leads.
Proposal & Pitch Development
- Prepare quotations, invoices, and customized commercial proposals.
- Create compelling pitch decks and sales presentations using Canva or similar tools.
- Draft new business pitch decks and deliver engaging presentations to clients.
- Ensure proposals align with client briefs and highlight the agency’s full-service capabilities.
Sales Operations & Reporting
- Maintain an updated lead pipeline using CRM tools.
- Monitor and respond to customer inquiries via website live chat.
- Prepare regular sales reports, revenue forecasting, and financial data summaries in Excel.
- Track and measure sales activities to ensure consistent growth and performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 3+ years of proven sales or account management experience.
- Demonstrated success in business development, preferably in the digital marketing, design, or creative industry.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities to close deals effectively.
- Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to craft client-centric solutions.
- Highly organized, self-driven, and results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-4 years of experience in proposal writing, sales support or business development (preferably in digital marketing or advertising).
- Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, strategies, and tools.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to simplify technical information and present it in a persuasive manner.
- Excellent research, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
