  • Monitor infrastructure risks, dependencies, capacity, resilience, and service continuity.
  • Drive a culture of accountability, service excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Cloud & Compute

  • Oversee servers, operating systems, virtualization, containers, storage, backup, databases, and related infrastructure technologies.
  • Ensure infrastructure platforms remain stable, secure, resilient, and effectively managed.
  • Monitor availability, performance, capacity, lifecycle, and operational risks across Cloud & Compute environments.
  • Support infrastructure modernization, automation, optimization, and standardization initiatives.

Network & Network Security Operations

  • Provide leadership oversight across enterprise network and network-security services.
  • Oversee LAN/WAN, wireless networks, connectivity, remote access, firewalls, load balancing, and related network platforms.
  • Ensure network availability, performance, resilience, capacity, security, and configuration integrity.
  • Support coordination between networking, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and other technical functions.
  • Drive improvements that enhance network stability, security, and service quality.

Security Systems Support

  • Provide leadership oversight for operational support of enterprise security systems and platforms.
  • Ensure incident investigation, troubleshooting, service restoration, escalation, and problem management for security technologies.
  • Coordinate with cybersecurity teams, infrastructure teams, vendors, and specialist technical teams when required.
  • Ensure strong ownership and communication throughout security-system incidents and escalations.
  • Drive improvements in operational processes, knowledge management, and reduction of recurring technical issues.

Service Management & Operational Excellence

  • Ensure infrastructure services are delivered in accordance with service levels, processes, security requirements, and IT service-management standards.
  • Provide leadership during major incidents, ensuring coordination, escalation, communication, and resolution.
  • Ensure root-cause analysis and corrective actions are completed following significant incidents.
  • Monitor service availability, performance, capacity, resilience, and disaster-recovery readiness.
  • Drive improvements across Incident, Problem, Change, Capacity, Availability, and Service Continuity Management.
  • Identify opportunities for automation, standardization, lifecycle improvement, and reduction of recurring incidents.

Stakeholder & Service Management

  • Build strong relationships with business stakeholders, technology teams, service providers, and vendors.
  • Act as a senior escalation point for infrastructure-related service performance, risks, and operational issues.
  • Translate complex technical topics into clear business impacts, risks, options, and recommendations.
  • Conduct regular operational and governance reviews with functional leads and key stakeholders.
  • Ensure clear communication around major incidents, service risks, planned improvements, and operational priorities.

Reporting & Continuous Improvement

  • Develop consolidated infrastructure performance and operational reports.
  • Track KPIs, service levels, risks, incidents, problems, availability, and improvement initiatives.
  • Analyze recurring infrastructure issues and ensure preventive actions are implemented.
  • Support resource and capability planning across infrastructure functions.
  • Monitor supplier and vendor performance where applicable.
  • Promote automation, operational efficiency, cost-conscious delivery, and continual service improvement.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong experience leading enterprise IT infrastructure operations across multiple technical areas.
  • Strong knowledge of Cloud, Compute, Data Center, Network, Network Security, and Security Systems operations.
  • Experience managing senior technical managers, functional leads, tower leads, or multidisciplinary infrastructure teams.
  • Broad technical understanding of servers, operating systems, virtualization, containers, storage, backup, databases, networking, firewalls, and cloud technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM) principles and operational governance.
  • Experience with Major Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Service Continuity, Capacity Management, and operational risk.
  • Strong understanding of high-availability and business-critical infrastructure environments.
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder-management, communication, coaching, and decision-making skills.
  • Experience working with vendors, service providers, and cross-functional technology teams.
  • Experience driving automation, standardization, service improvement, and infrastructure lifecycle initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • 12+ years of relevant experience across IT infrastructure, cloud, networking, data center, security operations, or related technology services.
  • Significant experience in a leadership or management capacity overseeing multiple infrastructure functions.
  • Experience leading functional leads, technical managers, or multidisciplinary infrastructure teams is highly preferred.
  • Relevant certifications such as ITIL, Microsoft Azure, AWS, VMware, Red Hat, Cisco, CISSP, CISM, ISO 27001, or equivalent are advantageous.
