DevOps Engineer, Blockchain Infra (Fully Remote)

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure across AWS, GCP, and Azure; operate production Kubernetes clusters.
• Manage Kubernetes autoscaling and capacity planning with Karpenter; maintain Terraform infrastructure as code.
• Design CI/CD pipelines and deploy middleware including Kafka, Redis, and NGINX.
• Automate operational work with Golang and Python; improve monitoring, logging, alerting, and distributed tracing.
• Improve reliability, scalability, security, and disaster recovery; troubleshoot incidents and conduct root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with software engineers on deployments and developer experience; participate in on-call and incident response.

Requirements

• 5+ years in DevOps, platform engineering, SRE, or infrastructure engineering.
• Strong experience with at least one of AWS, GCP, or Azure; production Kubernetes and Karpenter experience.
• Strong Terraform experience; Linux administration and networking fundamentals.
• Experience with Kafka, Redis, or NGINX; strong Golang or Python skills.
• Experience with Git, GitOps, and CI/CD; understanding of Prometheus or OpenTelemetry and familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Preferred qualifications

• Familiarity with blockchain RPC services, validators, indexing services, or distributed consensus; blockchain node experience is preferred.
• Experience with Argo CD, Helm, Helmfile, or Flux; multi-region or multi-cloud deployments.
• Knowledge of cloud security, IAM, networking, secrets management, service mesh, message queues, distributed caching, or high-throughput systems.
• Cryptocurrency exchange or blockchain infrastructure experience, distributed databases, high-performance networking, security/compliance practices, or open-source contributions are beneficial.
